About Us

Everyone Deserves The Opportunity To Grow.

Individualized residential and community-based support for adults 18 years and older.

GoodHeart Caregivers was created around a simple belief:

Support should help people participate more fully in their own lives.

Every individual comes to GoodHeart with different experiences, abilities, preferences and aspirations.

Our role is not to define what someone's life should look like.

Our role is to understand what matters to them and provide the appropriate structure, encouragement, relationships and opportunities that can help them move toward their goals.

We believe meaningful support is built through listening, collaboration, respect, opportunity, learning, community, choice and belonging.

    Dignity & Respect

Every person deserves to be seen, heard and valued.

We recognize the individuality, rights, preferences and lived experiences of every person we support.

  • 02

    Choice & Self-Determination

People should have meaningful influence over their own lives.

We encourage supported individuals to participate in decisions involving their goals, daily routines, activities, relationships, community involvement, personal development and future planning.

  • 03

    Safety & Well-Being

Growth happens best when people feel safe.

We work to maintain residential and community environments that promote physical safety, emotional well-being and respectful relationships.

  • 04

    Inclusion & Belonging

    Community belongs to everyone.

We support people in developing meaningful relationships and participating in community life in ways that reflect their interests and abilities.

  • 05

    Growth & Learning

Everyone has the capacity to develop.

We create opportunities for individuals and staff to learn, develop skills, build confidence, solve problems, explore possibilities and pursue new goals.

  • 06

    Accountability & Excellence

    Quality support requires responsibility.

We promote professional standards, clear documentation, transparency, staff development, continuous improvement, thoughtful decision-making and responsible service delivery.

  • 07

    Collaboration

    Better outcomes are built together.

We recognize the important roles played by supported individuals, families, guardians, social workers, healthcare and behavioural professionals, case managers, community organizations, developmental-service agencies and funding partners. Planning is collaborative wherever appropriate and authorized by the individual.
